The responsibility of this position is to support and develop the teaching of the English language and to ensure graduates of the English language program who are able to continue their university studies in their programs easily. The role holder is entrusted with raising the level of teaching English to develop school graduates English level to complete their university studies in a discipline in which the language of instruction is English. The person is also directly responsible for preparing the graduates to be competitors in the labour market by refining their English language skills. Therefore, this the holder of this position must implement and develop plans and review them with the Dean of Support Studies. He also coordinates and communicates directly with the Dean of Support Studies to brief him on all developments, the implementation mechanism of the institute’s work, semesters’ results and reports of the institute. Furthermore, the job requires developing the necessary plans to support the educational and administrative process in the Institute through the establishment of an integrated academic system in an attractive and stimulating environment to ensure distinct educational outputs in line with the challenges of the times and the needs of the labour market and keep pace with the vision and mission of Alasala by providing education that contributes to employment and entrepreneurship.

  • Follow up the work of the English Language Institute, make proposals to develop the work of the Institute, and raise the efficiency of the performance of English teachers in line with the goals of Alasala
  • Evaluate the performance of the Assistant Director of the Institute, the English teachers and committees
  • Prepare periodic reports on the progress of academic work at the Institute and submit them to the General supervisor for academic affairs
  • Supervise the distribution of teaching loads for English teachers in accordance with the relevant regulations and rules
  • Supervise the recruitment of English teachers
  • Supervise the implementation of all quality procedures at the Institute
  • Supervise all training programs and community service programs at the Institute
  • All work or tasks assigned by the General Supervisor for Academic Affairs

Requirements requested:

  • master degree or PhD degree
  • 5 years leading experience in the field of universities or colleges
  • perfect English skills

  • Extensive knowledge in organization and management
  • Demonstrable awareness of the requirements and conditions of the review and accreditation bodies
  • Full knowledge in reading and analyzing data
  • Master the development of curricular programs and their requirements
  • Good IT knowledge in the field of work
  • Demonstrable knowledge in reading and analysis of administrative and financial reports
  • Good knowledge in the ways adopted to solve problems
